Welcome to HTC Raphael. If you’re searching for more information about the HTC Raphael or HTC Touch Pro, then you arrived at the right site. HTC Raphael dot com is dedicated to bringing you everything Raphael news and rumors. As stated previously, the HTC Raphael is also known as the HTC Touch Pro according to sources close to HTC. The HTC Raphael is essentially the same phone as the recently launched HTC Diamond with the addition of a QWERTY keyboard.

NOTE: HTC Raphael for Sprint looks exactly like the above phone.
The HTC Raphael would first launch on Sprint network’s CDMA/EVDO network featuring Rev. A. Other prominent features of the HTC Raphael include WiFi, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a 2.8 inch display, GPS and assisted-GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, Windows Mobile 6.1, HTC TouchFLO 3D and more specifically its “intelligent zooming.” Similar to the iPhone, the HTC Raphael sports onboard accelerometer sensors that automatically rotate the phone’s glass screen based on orientation. There are also specialized versions of YouTube, Google Maps, music and image gallery with ability to flip through photos or songs on the phone in a kind of 3D affect. Qualcomm’s new MSM 7201A 528MHz processor powers the HTC Diamond and will likely power the HTC Raphael.
The reason for development of the HTC Raphael is to replace the HTC Mogul with TouchFLO screen. The target market includes business users who need to stay connected to their office and who will benefit from Sprint’s high EVDO data speeds. That’s not to say that the HTC Raphael isn’t for normal consumer, but it is actually a much more powerful multimedia-centric smartphone than any other smartphones released by HTC previously.
The exact launch date is yet to be announced, but at this point we know it’s around Q4 time frame. How much the HTC Raphael will cost is yet to be determined or announced by the carrier or carriers, which is Sprint.
